Will you choose to be who god created you to be?

Our theme scripture for this year’s conference is:

“But you are Gods chosen treasure-priests who are kings, a spiritual nation SET APART as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience His marvelous light and now He claims you as Hs very own. He did this so that you would broadcast His glorious wonders throughout the world.” 1 Peter 2:9 (TPT) 

It's essential that we know who we are and whose we are in the days ahead. In the above scripture, Peter is writing to the church that was being persecuted. He is not saying that just the spiritually elite should be set apart, but every believer. Being set apart is not about perfection; it is about transformation. Being set apart means you are called to be holy because you belong to a holy God. God doesn't just call us to holiness; He empowers us for it. (I Peter 1:15-16).

This is what enables us to live a life ‘Set Apart’.  It’s not by striving, but by surrendering to Him; not by effort alone, but by staying connected to God. It's not about being better than somebody; it's about being set apart for God. The question isn't, "Can I live a life ‘Set Apart?" The question is, "Will I choose to be who God has created me to be?"

 You possess a new nature within you. You are called to be set apart to live differently from the world around you.  Our worth is intrinsic, we are not defined by the trials we face or the battles we fight. We are SET APART for His purposes. He tells us, we are His chosen treasures. We are His Gems!

 Let’s ‘Set Apart’ ourselves to be in God’s presence for two days at Gritty Women of God 2025. He is empowering women to be His Gems among the Swords.
